Dr Martens BespokePosted October 11 2011
Dr. Martens is launching a bespoke service exclusively through a pop-up at London concept store Dover Street Market.
Dr Martens Bespoke will then travel to a variety of global retailers with the tour including stops in Beijing, Tokyo, Paris and the US before taking up space online. The personalising service will be completed at the brand's Northampton factory where the orders will be made up by hand and each pair will be individually marked by the shoemaker.
Using two templates as the starting blocks- the classic 1460 eight eye boot plus the 1461 three eye shoe- customers will be able to choose their own specifications from a range of five possible leathers, including Ostrich, for the uppers, through to linings, trims, eyelets, welts, laces and even the signature heel loop.
Dr Martens Bespoke will be available now from Dover Street Market
